About The Position

This position requires a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or telemetry setting. The role involves managing patients requiring specialized cardiac care, including the administration of insulin drips, cardiac drips, and post-cardiac catheterization care. Proficiency in IV starts is also essential. The nurse must hold an active NY RN license and possess current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Recent Epic experience (within the last 2 years) and reliable transportation are also mandatory.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year PCU/telemetry experience.
• Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, post-cardiac cath care, and IV starts.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification.
• AHA NIHSS certification (prior to start).
• Recent Epic experience (within 2 years).
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
