About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). The unit primarily serves a neurological population along with general medical intermediate patients. The role requires a strong emphasis on teamwork, adherence to Novant behavioral expectations, and strict compliance with the call-off policy. RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO could result in a Cancel and DNR. The nurse must be able to titrate LEVO. EPIC experience is required. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start. The unit will accept contracts from 16+ weeks up to February 27, 2027. Orientation includes 8-hour computer class and two shifts on the unit after initial hospital orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Float to other intermediate areas like 6A or 5A PCTU or 5C Cardiac Intermediate, and critical care (ICU/Stepdown patients)
