About The Position

MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care, a part of MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown, is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care. As part of the Medical University of South Carolina, MUSC Health is committed to delivering the highest quality and safest patient care. This role is located at 7624 Garners Ferry Rd and offers a patient-centered approach to care for various illnesses and injuries, from minor to life-threatening conditions. The care team is equipped to provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse in an emergency department setting is required.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
