About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at a competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. This position is with the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA), in the CV Surgery cost center, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week. A sign-on bonus of $18,000 is offered.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or an AHA-recognized equivalent) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
