About The Position
Currently offering a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for those new to state service Utilizing knowledge base and experience, provide quality nursing care to adult and geriatric psychiatric patients through the nursing process in accordance with hospital policy and procedure and standards of nursing practice. Evaluates, supervises, documents and provides guidance in performance of staff.
Requirements
- Must successfully complete BLS, TOVA and other required training upon employment at Eastern State Hospital
- Must successfully complete and maintain competencies;
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, team focused care and a professional appearance/approach;
- Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care utilizing knowledge of pharmacology, psychiatric and physical disorders and cultural needs of the psychiatric patient;
- Ability to delegate and supervise.
