Registered Nurse II (RN) Cath Lab/IR/EP
About The Position
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is hiring a Full-time day shift RN-II for the Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology/ and Electrophysiology Lab in Woodbridge, Virginia! This position requires on-call with a 30-minute response time. Sign on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates! As a Registered Nurse Clin II your primary responsibilities include intra-procedural patient care/monitoring, moderate sedation, documentation, and circulating. The Cath Lab at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 50-person team of monitor techs, cardiovascular invasive techs, registered nurses and patient care staff for additional support. The team sees a mix of inpatient and outpatient and an average of 10 procedures per day. Heart and Vascular has 3 labs for EP, Cardiac and IR at SNVMC. RN's will see a 1 to 1 ratio in procedural areas and a 1 to 2/3 in recovery depending on acuity.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
- Registered nursing License (Required)
- ACLS required prior to completion of orientation
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
- Critical care experience in hospital required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
- 1-2 years Cath/EP Lab, Critical Care, Emergency Department or ICU experience.
- RN with cardiac step-down experience will be considered.
