About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at the competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. The role is associated with the Emergency Department at KER (KMC).

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or an AHA-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
