About The Position

Baptist South is looking for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights. New Hires eligible for a $3,750 Sign on Bonus. Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to critical patients that require a higher acuity of care. Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care. As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health you will: Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition. Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement. Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care. Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital. Coordinate care provided by ancillary services. Act as the patient advocate. Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Requirements

Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care
Licensed Registered Nurse Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Nice To Haves

Associate of Science in Nursing Or Diploma Nurse Or Degree Preferred: Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)
1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
1-2 years Telemetry Experience
Hospital Experience
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
