Registered Nurse - ICU
About The Position
The role is for an ICU registered nurse at a short-term acute care facility with 379 staffed beds and a Level II Trauma Center. The position may float between units. The unit is seeking nurses with Neuro ICU experience, including care for post-craniotomy and stroke patients and experience with EVDs. Block schedules may be approved based on unit and staffing needs. Ratios are 1:2 or 1:3. The role requires at least six weekend shifts in six weeks; on-call is not required. Forty-eight-hour schedules are approved. Licensed nursing staff must wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping, and print tops are not acceptable except in specified children's and women's services areas.
