About The Position

This role involves collecting relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, and developing a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. The nurse will implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Progress toward attaining outcomes will be evaluated, and outcomes for the patient or situation will be identified. Collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers is essential for providing safe, healing, humane, and caring patient care. The role also includes providing learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members, and directly providing health information.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
