About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with strong cardiac ICU experience, typically from a CCU or CVICU, to care for patients with advanced cardiac devices and diagnoses. This role is crucial for managing patients with conditions such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, and TVP, as well as handling cardiac/medical intensive care patients and some step-down overflow. The position requires expertise in managing Impella/IABP, ventilators, CRRT, invasive lines, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Requirements

• Strong cardiac ICU experience (CCU or CVICU preferred).
• Experience with advanced cardiac devices (LVAD, Impella, IABP, TVP).
• Experience with Impella/IABP, vent, CRRT, invasive lines, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NIH certification.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Experience with post-cardiac surgery patients (not directly from OR).
• Experience with pre/post cardiac cath/intervention.
• Experience with sheath removal.
• Experience with a 2:1 patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with advanced cardiac devices (LVAD, Impella, IABP, TVP).
• Provide care for cardiac/medical intensive care patients.
• Handle step-down overflow patients.
• Manage Impella/IABP, ventilators, CRRT, invasive lines, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Care for patients post-cardiac surgery (not directly from OR).
• Provide pre/post cardiac catheterization/intervention care.
• Perform sheath removal.
