About The Position

Essentia Health Detroit Lakes is now hiring an ICU RN. This position is 32 hours per week, with a day/night rotation, and includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. The Registered Nurse is responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. The role contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year

Responsibilities
