About The Position
Essentia Health Detroit Lakes is hiring an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position, working 32 hours per week. This role involves a day/night rotation, including every other weekend and holiday rotation. The nurse is responsible for organizing and providing nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their qualifications and job descriptions. The position contributes to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year
Responsibilities
- Organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions.
- Contributing to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
- Meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
