About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to work night shifts. This position is open to first-time travelers and requires at least 1.5 years of experience. Candidates must have or be eligible for a New Mexico (NM) license. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, and weekend availability is required. Flexibility to float to Medical Surgical (MS), Stepdown, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Emergency Room (ER), and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is necessary, with a maximum of 4 patients when floating. A 50-mile radius exclusion applies to local candidates.

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of ICU experience.
• Current RN license or pending NM license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to float to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, CVICU.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Document patient care activities.
• Float to other units as needed (MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, CVICU) with a maximum of 4 patients.
• Work night shifts.
• Meet weekend requirements.
