Registered Nurse - ICU

About The Position
13-week ICU RN assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week working 12-hour rotating day and night shifts. The RN provides comprehensive critical care to adult and geriatric patients using the nursing process, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and coordinates individualized plans of care. Floating may be required to other ICU units and Medical-Surgical units based on staffing needs. Every third weekend is required.
Requirements
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
- Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification
- Adult and geriatric critical care experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Current specialty skills checklist and two supervisory references required
Nice To Haves
- Experience interpreting cardiac rhythms
- Experience caring for fresh open-heart surgery patients
- Experience with Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) devices
