About The Position

This role involves delivering specialized progressive care to high-acuity patients requiring continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring. The nurse will balance advanced clinical interventions with compassionate bedside support, manage and titrate specialized care plans, and closely track complex patient trajectories to intercept complications early and safely transition patients from critical care toward recovery. The role also includes leading multi-disciplinary care coordination by collaborating directly with intensivists, therapists, and case managers to ensure a unified approach to complex patient needs. The nurse will execute advanced provider orders with precision, proactively driving the discharge and transfer planning process to ensure patients and families are safely prepared for lower levels of acuity. Additionally, the nurse will serve as a vigilant advocate by continuously assessing, recording, and communicating subtle shifts in patient condition, acting as the crucial line of defense in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
