About The Position
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a mixed unit including MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU. The role involves taking care of complex ICU patients with conditions ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro to trauma. Comfort with a fast-paced environment and working collaboratively is essential.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience excluding travel experience; no first-time travelers
- Proficiency with Epic charting system and administration of IV medications
- Ability to work a 48-hour week and willingness to float when required
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to complex ICU patients
- Manage ventilators, hemodynamic lines, and perform critical assessments
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
