About The Position

This role involves caring for critically ill patients who require longer-term hospitalization, including those with respiratory failure, ventilator management and weaning, and multisystem complexities. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions, serve as a primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• RN ICU/Progressive care experience
