About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity critical care in a MedSurg ICU setting. The RN will manage complex patients in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center, delivering advanced nursing care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• 2–3 years ICU experience preferred
• Cardiac and neuro ICU experience required
• General surgery ICU experience preferred
• Trauma ICU experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
• Ability to work in high-acuity environments

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for ICU patients with complex conditions
• Manage critically ill patients in a 1:2–1:3 ratio
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ICU-level interventions
• Support ventilated, post-surgical, cardiac, and neuro patients
• Perform continuous patient monitoring and assessments
• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition
• Document care accurately in EMR systems
• Float between units as required
• Maintain ICU safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
