About The Position
The Registered Nurse I (RN) on the 3 Palm Med/Surg Cardiac Telemetry Team (6 Palm) plays a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. This 36-bed unit specializes in adult and geriatric medical and surgical cardiac patients with a wide range of diagnoses and conditions, including AMI, ACS, CHF, complex arrhythmias, and post-operative care for procedures like CABG. The unit is part of Atrium Health Pineville, an ANCC Pathways to Excellence organization, recognized for its commitment to a healthy work environment for nurses. The team utilizes evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to ensure the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- At least 6 months of RN experience (this position is not for new grads).
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
