This full-time Registered Nurse I position in Ambulatory & Outpatient services, within the Enterprise Corporate - Community Education department, focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care. The role involves engaging in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to enhance care processes and implement evidence-based practices. Nurses will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and families throughout their healthcare journey. Key responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adapting care plans, coordinating resources, and collaborating with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a culture of safety, continuous evaluation of outcomes, and safe administration of medications and treatments. Effective communication, conflict resolution, and delegation are crucial for fostering team collaboration. The role also requires a commitment to professional development, continuous education, and adherence to ethical standards, including the ANA Code of Ethics. Accurate and timely electronic health record (EHR) documentation is essential. This position may require floating to other units or facilities to meet patient needs and requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan.
