The incumbent will pursue professional development, complete required education, maintain certifications, adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics, and practice ethical decision-making. Accurate and timely EHR documentation is essential. The role may require floating to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs. The nurse must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care, particularly concerning the principles of growth and development over the life span for pediatric patients.
