About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position within the Department of 05709 GCMG Adult Hospital at Home - Virtual Health: Hospital at Home. The role involves assessing and directing comprehensive nursing care using telephone triage protocols, and providing and assessing the effectiveness of patient and family education initiatives. The nurse will perform telephone triage with a diverse patient population, assess needed care, and collaborate with patients and others to provide clinical solutions. A comprehensive nursing assessment will be conducted in an untraditional nursing environment. The nurse will actively participate in team conferences, assess patient education needs, and notify practices, physicians, and managed care clients of all patient encounters before office opening. They will also notify designated leadership of operational concerns.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina required.
- Must apply for and maintain a South Carolina Registered Nurse license and any other Registered Nurse licenses from states that new clients may reside in.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Experience in telephone triage, pediatrics and ED triage is desired.
Responsibilities
