Registered Nurse - Hospital at Home - Bloomington South Region - FT Days
About The Position
This position supports the South Region, serving patients within a 30-mile radius of IU Health Bloomington. The RN will provide in-home visits for patients enrolled in the Hospital at Home program. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Candidates must have prior inpatient RN experience. Home health experience is preferred but not required. Requirements
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Candidates must have prior inpatient RN experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Home health experience is preferred but not required.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home visits for patients enrolled in the Hospital at Home program.
- Provide one on one patient centered care and education.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical skills including but not limited to infusions, line care, catheter care, wound care, VAC management, chronic disease process management and education.
