About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Part Time or Per Diem opportunity in Northern Baltimore County, Maryland. This role involves providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to seniors within 1-2 communities, reducing the typical home health commute. The position requires availability during early mornings/evenings or weekends, specifically before 8 am and after 4 pm. Part-time requires working 3-4 days per week, while Per Diem requires 2-3 days per week, with availability Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. Per Diem roles require current HH/HCHB/Oasis experience.

Requirements

A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Nice To Haves

Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Per Diem requires current HH/HCHB/Oasis experience.

Responsibilities

Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
Perform client assessments as necessary
Case management and coordination
Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
