About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide home health and hospice care within a dual role, covering areas up to 80 miles outside of Rapid City, including Custer/Hill City and Hot Springs. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 20-25 patients, with each RN seeing approximately 5-6 routine patients per day and performing about 2 admissions daily.
Requirements
- 1.5 years of experience in home health and hospice
- BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
- Skills in Oasis, hospice philosophy, infection control practices, wound vacs, wound care, PICC line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, drains, critical thinking, catheter insertion, and driving at night
Responsibilities
