This is a chance to practice home health nursing the way it was meant to be practiced: one patient at a time, in their own home, with the clinical autonomy to actually use your full assessment and care planning skills. If you've been craving more one-on-one patient time and less hallway chaos, this role puts you back in the driver's seat of your own patient panel. You'll conduct full nursing assessments and build individualized care plans alongside physicians, therapists, social workers, and aides, so your clinical judgment carries real weight on the care team. Your hands-on work spans wound care, medication management, IV therapy, and symptom and pain management, giving you the chance to use the breadth of your skillset rather than a narrow slice of it. You'll also supervise LPNs/LVNs and home health aides, a step up in scope for RNs looking to grow into a leadership role without leaving the bedside behind. And because so much of this work happens with families, you'll be trusted to provide real education and emotional support, not just deliver a checklist of tasks.
