About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home assessments and support clients throughout Anne Arundel County. This role is ideal for nurses looking for flexible, supplemental income while making a meaningful impact in patient care and compliance. This position primarily supports required client assessments and care coordination in a home setting. Travel between clients is required.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule efficiently
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Anne Arundel County
- Commitment to providing compassionate, dependable patient care
Nice To Haves
- Home care, home health, hospice, or community nursing experience preferred
- Preference given to candidates with some weekday availability
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient condition and document findings accurately
- Ensure compliance with state requirements and assessment timelines
- Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and other appropriate healthcare professionals
- Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and disease management
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation
- Travel throughout Anne Arundel County to complete scheduled patient visits
