About The Position
X-TREME CARE is seeking a Spanish-speaking Registered Nurse to serve as an HHA Instructor. The company offers free DOH Approved HHA & PCA Certification courses across New York City and Nassau and Westchester counties. This part-time role involves managing and conducting training programs for Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA).
Requirements
- Must be a valid Registered Nurse licensed in New York State.
- 1 year of home care experience required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Ability to commute to Yonkers, NY (Required) - In person.
- Nursing: 1 year (Required)
- Home Health Care: 1 year (Required)
- Spanish (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Preferably with two (2) years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Certificated Registered Nurse (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Manage the orientation, teaching, and evaluation of DOH Approved HHA and PCA Certification courses.
- Train, inspire, and motivate others to provide exceptional home care.
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct the Home Health training program, and in-service training programs.
- Maintain a training program that is in compliance with quality management, department of health, and safety standards.
