Registered Nurse-HHA Instructor-Part Time -Peekskill, NY
About The Position
X-TREME CARE is seeking a Spanish-speaking Registered Nurse to serve as an HHA Instructor. The company has service offices in all New York City boroughs, as well as Nassau and Westchester counties, and offers free DOH Approved HHA & PCA Certification courses. This part-time role involves managing the orientation, teaching, and evaluation of these certification courses, as well as training, inspiring, and motivating others to provide exceptional home care. The instructor will also be responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting the Home Health training program and in-service training programs, ensuring compliance with quality management, department of health, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Must be a valid Registered Nurse licensed in New York State
- 1 year of home care experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Spanish (Required)
- Nursing: 1 year (Required)
- Home Health Care: 1 year (Required)
- Ability to Commute: Yonkers, NY (Required) -- In person.
Nice To Haves
- preferably with two (2) years' experience
- Certificated Registered Nurse (Preferred)
