About The Position
ChristianaCare Hospital's Hemodialysis Unit in Newark, DE, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a commitment of 3 to 12-hour shifts per week. The Hemodialysis Unit comprises 16 beds and focuses on providing care to patients of all ages with acute or chronic kidney-related diseases. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing each patient's needs and delivering appropriate care to address those needs. Call Responsibility: Be at the hospital, set up, and ready to deliver treatment within one hour.
Requirements
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date
- One year of experience as an RN in Hemodialysis
- BLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Assessing each patient's needs
- Delivering appropriate care to address those needs
- Be at the hospital, set up, and ready to deliver treatment within one hour (on-call)
