About The Position

We are hiring a Registered Infusion Nurse (RN) for our Hematology/Oncology Clinic at our South Hospital location in Overland Park, KS. This is a full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role involves functioning independently and being accountable for utilizing the nursing process. The RN will coordinate care for patients with the Multidisciplinary Team, delegate tasks appropriately, identify hospital resources, and serve as a clinical resource for new employees. The position also involves demonstrating positive leadership, scheduling emergent-need appointments, providing patient education, acting as a subject matter expert for hospital RNs, and regularly meeting with other disciplines to share best practices. There will be face-to-face patient contact, with patient care typically for those undergoing long-term treatment processes. The work is generally performed within a specialty clinic setting.

Requirements

  • 1 year Applicable Experience
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
  • Associate Degree

Responsibilities
