This position is referral eligible and eligible for relocation incentive. Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5pm, or 9am-5:30pm (can choose preferred schedule). On call weekend requirement and rotating holidays On-Call Requirement: 1 weekend day per six weeks 6am-6pm. The Hem/Onc Infusion-Bone Marrow department cares for oncology patients who have undergone stem cell transplants and require specialized, ongoing support throughout their recovery. Nurses in this area provide a blend of clinic‑based patient care and infusion services, allowing for strong continuity and meaningful patient relationships. Infusions on this unit include a range of therapies such as magnesium, potassium, blood products, chemotherapy, and other supportive or immunotherapy treatments. This unit offers RNs the opportunity to develop advanced oncology and infusion skills while working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver highly personalized, life‑changing care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a blend of clinic‑based patient care and infusion services.
  • Administer infusions including magnesium, potassium, blood products, chemotherapy, and other supportive or immunotherapy treatments.
  • Develop advanced oncology and infusion skills.
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver highly personalized, life‑changing care.
  • Perform central line access and care.
  • Administer chemotherapy safely.
  • Administer immunotherapy and biologic infusions.
  • Administer blood products.
  • Manage electrolyte replacement infusions.
  • Monitor complex oncology patients.
  • Recognize and respond to infusion reactions.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary cancer care.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans.
  • Support stem cell transplant recovery.
