About The Position

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse in the GI Lab. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with 4 x 10-hour shifts. This role requires weekday and weekend call. Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. The nurse will be required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent GI Lab experience
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Experience with GI and pulmonary interventional procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, feeding tube placement, GI bleeds, and related procedures
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays — Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day — AND 1 minor holiday — Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

Responsibilities

• Perform GI and pulmonary interventional procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, feeding tube placement, and managing GI bleeds and related procedures.
