About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the GI Lab at Texas Health Plano will bring their passion for patient care to a fast-paced, high-volume department. This role is full-time, working evenings from Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The department offers robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership, with opportunities for promotion, education, and growth. The department is known for its high retention and low turnover.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma in Nursing or Associate’s degree in nursing or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program
• RN – Registered Nurse upon hire
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• 6 months of Endo/GI Lab experience highly preferred
