About The Position

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for their PeriOp 101 Program. This program is designed for experienced nurses wishing to change specialties or new graduate nurses entering into practice. The program includes didactic content, AORN online modules, classroom discussions, policy and procedure review and application, skills labs, and clinical experiences at the hiring hospital. Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 183-bed, not-for-profit hospital located in Woodbridge, VA, and is a Trauma III Medical Center. The surgical services team is committed to providing high-quality care in a comfortable setting.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State License - Virginia
RN-Associate's Degree OR RN-Bachelor's Degree OR RN-Diploma OR RN-Master's Degree OR RN-Doctorate Degree

Responsibilities

Participate in the PeriOp 101 Program, which includes didactic content, AORN online modules, classroom discussions, policy and procedure review and application, skills labs, and clinical experiences.
Provide high-quality care in a comfortable setting as part of the surgical services team.
Care for inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.
