About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care for Orthopedics. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Communication skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, methods and techniques in Orthopedics.
  • Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
  • Ability to competently use computers and software applications
  • Experience in nursing services relating to the care of surgery patients
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Orthopedics.
