About The Position
Under the direction of the Home Care Manager, the Registered Nurse carries major responsibilities in providing nursing services in the home. This role involves collaborating as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to assess needs, set priorities for care, and develop standards for care. The nurse will also participate in educational programs and the performance evaluation process, promote good public relations, and contribute to studies and research projects within the Home Care Program as required.
Requirements
- Two (2) years recent community nursing experience/broad generalist background
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Nursing diploma
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Responsibilities
- Providing nursing services in the home
