About The Position

HealthLine 811 is a technology-rich, evolving provincial program that offers free, confidential health, mental health & addictions information and supportive telephone advice available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to all residents of Saskatchewan. Current services include health information, service referral, assessment and triage for inbound callers. HealthLine 811 outbound call service is expanding and new programs are being developed. HealthLine 811 Registered Nurses work in a team environment with Social Workers and Psychiatric Registered Nurses. All clinician roles at Healthline 811 are sedentary. Requirements

• Recent acute care experience.
• 5 years clinical experience using high levels of independent assessment skills.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Nursing diploma.
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
• Must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
• Must bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.

Responsibilities

• Offer free, confidential health, mental health & addictions information and supportive telephone advice.
• Provide health information, service referral, assessment and triage for inbound callers.
• Work in a team environment with Social Workers and Psychiatric Registered Nurses.
• Be available at any time during shift to assist another caller/patient.
