About The Position

Under the direction of the Home Care Manager, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services to urban and rural Home Care clients within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Home base for this position is: 2180 23rd Avenue (WRC). Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required
• Demonstrated independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Knowledge in nursing process
• Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
• Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making
• Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
• Ability to promote effective relationships within the SHA and the community
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a vehicle available for work.
