About The Position
This is a part-time regular position for a Registered Nurse General Duty Nurse at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital in Saskatoon, within the Pediatric Nursing Unit. The role operates under the direction of the Manager of Nursing and involves the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care on Acute Care Pediatrics. The position requires working days and weekends, with extended shifts of 11.78 hours, totaling 9 shifts per 4-week rotation. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), a large employer with over 45,000 staff, is committed to providing coordinated, quality, seamless, safe, and patient-centred services. Applicants are required to upload all relevant documents, and those selected for an interview must bring a valid Criminal Record Check dated within six months, including a vulnerable sector search.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Nursing diploma
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
