Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Travel required
Nice To Haves
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing treatments for clients in the community as ordered by physicians including treatments, dressings, injections, medication dispensing, and personal care.
- Teach self-care to the client and family members as appropriate to promote independence.
- Assume on-call responsibilities as assigned.
- Consult with other care providers and health agencies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and report client issues to Client Case Coordinator and Manager of Home Care.
