About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Registered Nurse- Gastroenterology at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves providing nursing care within a military health system setting. Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) is a leading organization that provides physician and clinical staffing and management services to United States Military Treatment Facilities, VA clinics and other Federal Agencies. SHR is the military staffing division of TeamHealth.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution (NLNAC or CCNE).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in any state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a clinical nurse in medical/surgical, critical care inpatient, or emergency department settings within the past 36 months.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience providing moderate sedation with recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care as a Registered Nurse in Gastroenterology.
- Administer moderate sedation and manage patient recovery.
- Work within a military health system setting.
