About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (Plano Only) Bring your passion for Texas Health So We Are Better + Together. Float Pool RN’s will float to multiple departments throughout the hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in a variety of units with self-scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth. We are a Level II Trauma facility and a Four-Time Magnet Designated Facility. We also have the only AACN Beacon Gold Adult Intensive Care Unit in the DFW area.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in PCU, Stepdown, and Telemetry as a RN strongly preferred
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required
