About The Position

Participate in the Registered Nurse Fellowship program designed for Registered Nurses (RN) with more than one year of experience transitioning into a new clinical specialty. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centered nursing care. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), communicating changes promptly to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team. Implement patient care plans, carry out physician and nursing orders, and support effective care coordination to improve patient outcomes and clinical quality. Participate in a nurse residency or transition-to-practice program to strengthen clinical judgment, enhance nursing skills, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
