Registered Nurse Fellow (RN) Emergency Department
About The Position
Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse who is interested in transitioning to the ED specialty to participate in our Fellowship program. Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on and relocation bonuses. This position is ideal for Experienced Nurses looking to change specialties. Required to go through & complete a 12-16 week Emergency Fellowship upon start. Start date: August 17th, 2026. The Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center is a full-service emergency department for adults at Inova Loudoun Hospital. It is a Joint Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an integral part of the trauma program at Inova Loudoun Hospital – Loudoun County’s only designated trauma center.
Requirements
- Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
- BLS from American Heart Association
- Proficient in English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
- Proficient computer skills required.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred candidates will possess 2 years of critical care experience.
- CEN/ACLS certification desired
Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
- Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
- Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
- Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
