Decypher is seeking a qualified Family Nurse to support healthcare services for military members and their families at RAF Lakenheath under a U.S. federal contract. The position provides direct patient care within a military treatment facility setting.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in family medicine, pediatrics, women's health, or primary care
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain base access/security clearance as required
  • Ability to relocate to and work on-site at RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, UK by October 1, 2026
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to active-duty service members, dependents, and other eligible beneficiaries across the lifespan.
  • Conduct patient assessments, triage, and care coordination in an outpatient/family practice setting.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations per provider orders.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Document care accurately in the electronic health record (e.g., AHLTA/MHS Genesis or equivalent).
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health staff as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
  • Maintain compliance with DoD, Air Force, and contract-specific clinical and administrative standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety initiatives.

Benefits

  • $44 to $50.00 per hour
