This is a Registered Nurse position in the Family Birthing Services department, working on a 14-bed LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit. The unit handles approximately 1,800 births annually and is supported by a Level II NICU and Lactation Consultants. The role offers professional growth opportunities through a Clinical Ladder Program and an RN Fellowship Program for nurses new to OB or graduate nurses. This is a full-time position requiring 72 hours biweekly, with a night shift schedule of 7pm-7am (12-hour shifts). The nurse will be eligible for shift and weekend differentials. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing, and coordinating patient care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes recognizing and treating the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
