About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room (ER) at Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital. This is a full-time night position. VUMC is dedicated to advancing health and wellness through patient care, education, and research, fostering an environment where employees can thrive and make a difference. The ER environment is fast-paced, treating between 170-210 patients per day, and is stroke and chest pain certified. The typical orientation period is 6-8 weeks, depending on prior RN experience. Responsibilities

Planning, organizing, and administering patient care within the scope of training and expertise.

Collaborating in establishing the plan of care, coordinating and implementing care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
