About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing care to a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics and minor to critically ill patients in a fast-paced Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years ED experience, excluding travel experience
- RN credentials with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required
- Proficient in using EPIC, Alaris, and Omnicell systems
Responsibilities
- Provide care for a wide range of patient conditions including trauma, sepsis, and cardiac issues
- Participate in triage, employing ESI assessments to prioritize patient needs
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and support staff
